I am a Ph.D candidate at Northeastern University in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. I work in the NU Computer Architecture Research (NUCAR) group under the direction of Dr. David Kaeli. My primary research topic is Abstraction Layers to Enable the Management of Manycore Architectures.
I am also interested in High Performance Reconfigurable Computing. My M.S. degree on the topic was completed here at Northeastern with the Reconfigurable Computing Laboratory (RCL) under the direction of Dr. Miriam Leeser. My Master's thesis, Parallel Backprojection: A Case Study in High Performance Reconfigurable Computing, can be found on the RCL website, along with a list of publications from my work in that laboratory.
I completed my B.S. degree at Carnegie Mellon University in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in 1998. From there, I worked for Digital Equipment Corporation, which quickly became Compaq Computer Corporation in 1999. I also worked for Sun Microsystems on the defunct Millenium microprocessor project until 2003.
A complete list of my academic and professional experience is available on my CV, in HTML and PDF formats. I am a current member of the IEEE professional society and the HKN honors society.
My hobbies include standards-compliant web design, Roller Derby, Ultimate, inline skating, rollerhockey, and community theatre. I also serve as a member of the Star Island Corporation.
