Final Remarks
A multi-stage approach for damage identification, location and quantification has been presented and applied to the benchmark structure
Traditionally, localization has been approached by searching for differences between the undamaged and damaged structures. The DLV technique takes the opposite view and looks for conditions under which the behavior is not affected by damage.
The application of the newly developed DLV technique proved successful for the level of complexity offered by the benchmark structure.
