Extraction / Isolation & Purification of Desired Compounds
- An appropriate amount of dried cells is weighed.
- Methanol is added to dried cells for extraction of desired compounds.
- After 3 hours, the cells are filtered and the extract is collected.
- The cells are placed back into the flask.
- Methanol is added for further extraction.
- After 1 more hour, the extract is collected and concentrated.
