- Received BS degree in chemical engineering from Middle East Technical (METU) in June 2002
- I started pursuing my Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering at Northeastern University in January 2003 under the supervision of Prof. Carolyn Lee-Parsons
- Expected graduation date is December 2004
Our vision is to increase the production of important plant-derived pharmaceuticals from plant cell cultures by 10-1000 fold. My specific research aim is to understand the changes in metabolism which lies behind the increase in production using the production of terpenoid indole alkaloids from C. roseus as a model system.
