Research

My research focuses on dynamic responses of long span bridges under wind hazards, including flutter and buffeting response, etc. Recent studies emphasize the interpretation of uncertainties coming from both modeling and experimentation, which allows adopting the concept of performance-based design, often preferred in the Seismic Engineering field. This could be used for serviceability in the structural design.
