Safety Training

For safety training, lab members need to fulfill the following:

Laboratory Safety / Chemical Hygiene Training (can be taken online)

Hazardous Waste (taken in classroom, need to register online)

Hazardous Material Transportation (taken online) (This training is a requirement for all employees and students who are involved in shipping or receiving hazardous materials.)

If a lab member is going to do any cell culture related research, they are also required to take: Bloodborne Pathogens and Biosafety training, (taken in classroom).

If a lab member uses the autoclave, they need to take Autoclave Training (online).
