Biographical Sketch
Reza Sheikhi is an Assistant Professor in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering Department at Northeastern University (NU). He joined NU in 2009, after being a Research Scientist in Mechanical Engineering Department at VirginiaTech. Previously, he was a Research Associate in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science Department at the University of Pittsburgh, where he earned his Ph.D. in 2005. He received his M.S. from the State University of New York at Buffalo and his B.S. from Sharif University of Technology in Iran. Reza Sheikhi’s research is in modeling and simulation of turbulent reacting flows. He is a senior member of AIAA and a member of APS and ASME.
