Biography
I am in the fifth year of my PhD program working under the guidance of Professor Kaushik Chowdhury in Genesys Lab, at the Institute for the Wireless Internet of Things,Northeastern
University. I received my M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Northeastern University in 2016, and my B.S. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from West Bengal University of
Technology, India, in 2011.
As an industry exposure, I did a 6-month long Research Internship at Intel Labs, in Hillsboro, Oregon, from 2017 to 2018. In academics, I received the Best Paper Award at IEEE INFOCOM in 2018. So far I have published 9 papers in prestigious journals and conferences. I also received the Northeastern University Graduate Dissertation Research Grant in 2015 to support my M.S. Thesis on designing a Smart Control Plane for Distributed Wireless Systems. My current research interests span applied machine learning to wireless systems, networked robotics, wireless protocols, network algorithms, software defined networking, scheduling, and optimization techniques.
