Subhramoy is a PhD student in Computer Engineering, Northeastern University, on a Stipended Graduate Research Assistantship position, doing research in Smart Control Plane for Wireless Networks in IoT arena, under the guidance of Prof. Kaushik Chowdhury. He did his MS (Thesis) ‘16, in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Northeastern University. He served with Syntel Limited as a Software Engineer from 2011 till 2014. He received his Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from West Bengal University of Technology, India (2011).

Subhramoy is the recipient of the Northeastern University Graduate Dissertation Research Grant Award (2015). He also received the Graduate Research Assistantship award from Northeastern University (2015), while doing his MS. His research concentration is in the area of designing a smart control plane for distributed energy transfer in wireless systems and IoT. He is also involved in analysis and experimentation with network protocols and wireless sensor networks. He served as the Teaching Assistant at computer networks classes in Summer’15, Fall’15 and Spring ’16, where he got relevant teaching experience in computer networks and network tools like NS-3, NS-2, GENI, sockets, etc.
