I am Teaching Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Northeastern University, located in Boston, MA. I received my B.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering from Miami University in Oxford, OH in 2007, and my M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in Milwaukee, WI in 2009 and 2012, respectively. I was a design engineer for a medical device company in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, working on embedded systems for monitoring and controlling radiofrequency catheter ablation techniques for the treatment of cardiac arrhythmias (defects in heart rhythm).

My research interests are in semiconductor device physics, solid-state biosensors, and computational modeling and simulation of biosensors.
